Growing up watching my father succeed in the real estate industry, I knew from a young age that I wanted to follow in his footsteps. It was quite a different upbringing; most of my friends' parents were able to leave their jobs at work, but my dad worked his 30-year real estate business day and night. As a second-generation real estate agent, I bring a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the industry.
Thirteen years ago, after graduating from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce Honors Degree, I made the brave decision to move to Alberta without knowing many people, all in the pursuit of starting a career in banking. Over those years, I gained extensive experience in different roles with the bank such as assisting clients with mortgages and other personal banking needs.
Eventually, I moved into working with business customers where I gained invaluable experience with a customer-obsessed mindset. Working with many banking clients taught me a lot about meeting their needs, which helped me develop my customer skills to provide top-notch advice and service to my clients to ensure their goals were met. That same service has been carried into my real estate business.
