Colleen de Menezes
I am a born and raised Calgarian and I have worked in the Real Estate business for a little over 12 years. I started with a small developer selling new-build single family homes and since then have worked with several different developers and have gained experience not only in single family homes, but also low-rise and high-rise condos both in the suburbs and the inner city and downtown areas. I became licensed about half way through my career and have had my Real Estate license for 6 of those 12 years.
I currently work for a small, family run developer, who focuses on inner city communities such as Marda Loop, Killarney and Kensington. We currently have a couple of new condo projects underway in Marda Loop, as well as a couple of town home projects in Killarney. My current role is as their Customer Service Coordinator, so I work closely, not only with the Sales Team, but also with our service and construction teams, as well as our property management team and our commercial tenants.
Family is incredibly important to me, and most of my spare time is spent with my hubby, our 2 daughters and/or our incredibly large extended family. When I am not with them, I am at a parent committee meeting at the dance studio, where our youngest daughter spends most of her days, or volunteering my time with an incredible charity organization called Dreams Take Flight.
Dreams Take Flight is a 100% volunteer, registered non-profit charity dedicated to providing the trip-of-a-lifetime to medically, mentally, physically, socially or emotionally challenged children. This year is the Calgary Chapter’s 27th Flight and we will be taking another 150 kids for an unforgettable day! Flight day is the most incredible day and without question one of my favorite days of the year!
