At the end of January we saw 773 single family homes sell in the Calgary Metro area, with a median sale price of $395,000. In the past 30 days we have had a jump on the number of sales to 1066, median stat not available.

Condos witnessed 305 sales in January for the Calgary Metro area, and also in the past 30 days noticed an increase in sales to 403. 

With sales increases come higher prices for the Buyer's, but remember, this is the time when we see more homes on the market. Much more choice for buyer's, a little more in the pocket of Sellers. I guess we could look at this as a wash!
